Great adventures are a wonderful part of growing up. Whether it’s sleeping in a tent overnight or traveling to a new place, that adventure should be something we strive to create.
Great adventures offer the opportunity to learn something new. To adapt to our circumstances. When we stick to routines, it’s easy to know what to expect each day. But when we throw something new in there’s a reason for inventing and adapting to handle what’s new.

Letter G
Going on an adventure is fun but a great adventure takes a little planning. We try to go somewhere new every year. Sometimes that means hiking, kayaking, or just finding a new park. One of our favorite hikes is the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon. We go in the fall to look at the fall leaves and to see the waterfalls. It’s a little different each year. It might be the weather or the parts of the path that change because of erosion. Or the wandering around when we finally reach the bottom. Either way, it’s a heck of a hill on the way back up.
The letter G is the seventh letter of the alphabet. Aiden picks gift, grab, and goal when he’s asked for an G words.
G sounds like gua.

As a homeschooling mom, I know one of the homeschool essentials is a good-quality printer with cheap ink. Make sure you look at the cost of the ink before you buy. The printer price isn’t the price to worry about. We have an old one we bought about 10 years ago. Totally worth it. It doesn’t even have to have both print cartilages to print.
