When the sun gets hot it’s time for the pool and fun of summer. For us, that means a weekly trip to Delgrosso’s amusement park. Delgrosso’s is a family amusement park in Tipton PA. We have gotten season passes for the past two summers. This that includes food vouchers and buddy passes (discounted price) for weekdays.
Delgrosso’s Amusement Park
Delgrosso’s is the same park my family went to when we were kids. Lots of good memories and fun summers. A lot of the park is the same. They do have some new ones but many of the rides at least 20 years old and still functioning beautifully.
Waterpark: kid pool, lazy river, waterworks, wavepool, and waterslides
The waterside has had a lot of upgrades pretty recently. With a lazy river and a wave pool. Waterworks and the huge water slides really haven’t changed. The last time we were there we spent 7 hours in the water.
Kiddy Rides
Normally Aiden spends half of his time riding rides and then hits the water park when it gets hot. He can’t get enough of the wacky worm which he calls the caterpillar. The wacky worm is a mini roller coaster that little ones can ride accompanied by an adult.
He also loves the kiddy rides like the whales which he calls the fishes 🎏 and the turtle 🐢 ride.
Big Kid Rides
There are tons of big kid rides too that he can go on. Although almost everything seems to spin. He likes the tilt-a-whirl and the scrambled way more than I’d like. He can’t wait to go on the flying Dodge and the roller coaster.
Stay All Day
The parkside is fenced in and relatively short walk from one side to the other. It’s full of trees which means lots of shady spots to sit or watch when little ones are on the kiddy rides. There are picnic areas at the back of the park and benches all through the park. They do allow small coolers so you can pack a lunch.
Or if you’d rather buy there’s tons of great food at reasonable prices. Including subs, fries, funnel cake, pizza 🍕, and pasta. You can even get a cheesesteak or hamburger if you like. The prices do seem to go up yearly but not very much.
There’s enough to do every time. It means a happy and tired active toddler. Which is great for me and him.

How fun! I wish I had an amusement park closer to me that My family could enjoy more often
Wow! The water park part alone would have me interested in getting passes if we lived in the area! Hope you enjoy your summer and thanks for sharing! 🙂
How fun to be able to take your son to the same place you went as a child. Nothing better than creating memories that span generations.
What a terrific mommy and son day trip! I imagine he had a blast in the wave pool and on all the water slides. And mama can relax in the lazy river!
