Hi there! Welcome to Tadpoles and Mud Puddles. A mommy blog about an active little boy’s adventures outside.
My son is all energy. Always in constant motion. His favorite place to get into trouble is on the table by our cat “door”. We have a sliding window that we leave open so our 6 house cats can come and go as they please. At least once a day he climbs up on the window sill. And boldly pronounces that he is standing and hoping someone will help him to escape to the outside world too. We spend most of our time outside enjoying the sunshine, rain, and mud. He’s always up for adventures outside.

He’s All Energy
I’m Jen, a mom, teacher, and entrepreneur. I have a two-year-old son named Aiden. He is high energy and always active. Unfortunately, I feel run down and tired more often than not. Work and life always seem to get in the way. So I decided to start prioritizing. After all, like my mother keeps reminding me: “he’s only young once”. I’m here for other moms like you who have an active young family that you have to keep out of trouble. And maybe even offer you that five minutes of peace you really want. We’re here to offer help for your run-raged days. And fun things to do with your wild child even if you don’t like it outside much yourself.
