Engaging rhymes is a fantastic memory tool. Why do you think you remember a song better than something you’re trying to remember? Set up the times tables as a rhyme or study a new language with a catchy tune. Chances are you both will learn and retain it for years to come. Rythem and Rhymes often come hand in hand. Use music to help your child remember verses or dates.

Letter E
What songs do you remember when you had your first kid? chances are even though you thought they were gone at the first baby activity or even in some of your child’s favorite storybooks. Row, Row, Row, Your Boat; Mary had a Little Lamb; The Wheels on the Bus; or Frere Jacques (Are You Sleeping) spring to mind for me.
Using this to my advantage I love using YouTube songs for the multiplication tables and plan to for the periodic table and any some of the basics when we start working on a second language.

As a homeschooling mom, I know one of the homeschool essentials is a good-quality printer with cheap ink. Make sure you look at the cost of the ink before you buy. The printer price isn’t the price to worry about. We have an old one we bought about 10 years ago. Totally worth it. It doesn’t even have to have both print cartilages to print.
